May 28/07 - News Updated!

We are finally on our way! While we're on the road, we'll be uploading photographs, here, of our journey, as well as making journal posts to our forums site, located here.

Noble Quest is a fund-raising venture for the Kids Cancer Care Foundation of Alberta which involves a father and his three sons. Sean Noble, together with his sons Ryan, Rob, and Justin are riding Suzuki V-Strom 650 motorcycles from Ushuaia, Argentina to Prudhoe Bay, Alaska. The ride will take place from May 6th to June 6th, 2007.

We will be using this event to raise funds for the Kids Cancer Care Foundation. We have registered as a charity event, and will be pursuing pledges and sponsors for the ride. The total trip is 27,000 kilometres long, and each of us is seeking pledges of $1 for every kilometre travelled. Our total goal for the Kids Cancer Care Foundation is $108,000:

Four riders x 27,000 kilometres x $1 = $108,000

The Guinness World Record for this ride is thirty-five days. The Nobles plan to complete the journey with three days to spare.

We'll be at the American/Canadian border at Coutts/Sweetgrass on June 2nd, and will be riding into Red Deer that evening for a big ol' shindig (NobleFest) at the Capri Hotel parking lot. We'd like to get a whole bunch of riders to meet us at the border to ride north with us, and have a mass of riders all pull into the party at the same time.

We invite you to register with us and join us for any section of the ride you'd like. We would encourage you to raise $1 for every kilometre you travel with us. Come and join us on our Quest!

Click here if you'd like to pledge for one of the riders and donate to the Kids Cancer Care Foundation.
